Today, May 25th 2008 we celebrate Bobalania’s Second Year in existence!

News Update
Firstly, Sorry for the long time with No Newsletter, We have been very busy over the passed few months, as we saw Bobalania Transform Radically infront of our eyes.
Here is a catch up on just a few of the things happening in Bobalania at the moment:

Bobalania’s Official Website now has over 25,000 Hits.

Our Total Number of Citizens Reaches 324 with an even greater range of Citizens from Different Cultures and Countries.

We Become the 2nd Most Active Micronation, (After Kingdom Of Lovely) In the World with a Total posts on our forums nearly reaching the 16,000 Milestone.

We Join the Union of Giess, and are proud to announce that our very own Kieran Penn-Norton becomes President of UoG.

Over the past 3 Months Bobalania’s Government has been changing continuosly, with a New Cabinet beign announced nearly every month, due to the speed of changes in our country.

We Recently appointed a New Minister of Culture and Bobalania Now has seen a growth in culture.

The Final of the Bobalanian Cup saw Bailey City and the City of Bobalania come face to face after a dramatic Conclusion Bailey City came out on Top after winning on Penalties. The BFA is Now planning for its Second Succesful season, and anyone may start a team! ( To do so just reply back to this e-mail stating your interest).

The 3 Bobalanian Basteball Teams Completed there season with Bobalanian Boppers finishing in 5th Place, Middlestock Marackers in 3rd Place and Bobalanian Tigers Reaching the Play -off Finals.

Great Achievements so far
I would just like to take a look back over Bobalania since November last year. Bobalania just hit 1000 posts, all citizens were full of joy and happiness. Around this time, Sir Kieran Penn Nortan and Damien Briggs, joined Bobalania, with the next general election in their eyes, they set about creating political parties and making themselves known. During this time, they posted like mad, making sure the public knew they were determined. When January aproached, so did the General Election and with around 10 votes, Sir Kieran Penn Nortan took control. He immediatly appointed Damien Briggs as his Number 2. He decided to create a new government and change the system. Position of President was introduced along, which saw Bobbie Bailey take this for his hard work.
Bobalania then went on to attract citizens from across the globe, New Ministers and Mayors. The Ministers now each have objectives, Mayors have more power in their cities. Everyone has a place in Bobalania. To prove this, Bobalania recently hit 15,000 posts. Well done all 
New Blog
Bobalania has now succesfully revamped our blog and changed over to our own reliable servers, enjoy!
*BIG ANNOUNCEMNT*
Bobalania has joined together with Plan-net Uro to buy Hosting for Bobalania and The above Company.
This will allow us to host EVERYTHING we need to including images, videos, radio stations, websites, databases, files and MANY MANY MORE.
WE have Purchased 1,500 GB of space - enough to keep us going for a long time, this will mean sites run faster and we will be able to build and add as many new features as we like, with no restrictions on Mysql databases and PHP.
Before, Bobalania used freehosting, so we were limited to what we can do but now THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!
Within the next couple of Days All of Bobalania’s sites and files will move to the new host as well as a couple of other sites, we will then be able to add as many features as possible, and i already have some exciting new Ideas that we want to launch.
This is a long term Project, and will certainly help Bobalania gain its true potential and develop too the maximum.

For over the next week a new Government will be created, all departments refurbished by the President and Myself. A new Deputy Prime Minister appointed. But the same old Bobalania happiness and welcome to all will still be there! Bobalania is growing! lets not it stop now!
